Calibrating The Compass

NOTE:

In some cases the compass may need to be calibrated. For example it always needs to be calibrated if the rear view mirror has been replaced or C appears in the display.

Look for a large, open area that is free of traffic, for example a car park or industrial site.

Ignition on.

Press the button (1) for at least 6 seconds, C must now appear in the display.

Then drive slowly (below 10 km/h) in a circle until the compass direction is displayed again (2-3 turns).

The calibration is now complete.
