INS GPS Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove Front Floor Console. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Remove both bolts (1).

   Torque: 3.5 Nm 

4. Remove bracket (2).
5. Lift left-hand air duct (1) at rear and release catch (2).
6. Pull off left hand air duct (1) to the rear and remove it.
7. Lift right-hand air duct (1) at rear and release catch (2).
8. Pull off right hand air duct (1) to the rear and remove it.
9. Unlock and disconnect both electrical connectors (1).
10. Remove 4 nuts (1).

    Torque: 6 Nm 

11. Guide out and remove INS GPS (2).

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install Front Floor Console. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
4. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
