Heated Oxygen Sensor: Removal: Removal

WARNING:
  • The procedures should be performed by at least 2 people.
  • Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.
  • The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
  • Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.
  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  2. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  3. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
  6. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 
    1. Using SST, remove the sensor.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 
    1. Using SST, remove the sensor.
