Active Control Engine Mount: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 25
  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 7
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
  5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  6. REMOVE BATTERY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  7. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  8. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
  10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
  11. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
  12. DISCONNECT COOLING FAN ECU CONNECTOR  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 12
  13. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  14. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 7
  15. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  16. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 16
  17. SEPARATE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 17
  18. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY AND FAN ASSEMBLY WITH MOTOR  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 18
  19. REMOVE TRANSVERSE ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Securely support the automatic transaxle using a jack.

    1. Remove the nut, 3 bolts and the transverse engine mounting bracket.

  20. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the vacuum hose sub-assembly from the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and vacuum switching valve.

    2. Remove the 2 clamps.

    3. Disconnect the duty vacuum switching valve connector and clamp.

    4. Remove the cap, 3 nuts and front engine mounting insulator assembly.
