Central Gateway Control Module: Installation

CAUTION:

When the central gateway control module has been replaced, be sure to perform the module registration.
When the control module related to immobilizer has been replaced, be sure to perform the registration of immobilizer system. (Model without keyless access with push button start)

Install the central gateway control module.
1. Connect the connector.
2. Install the central gateway control module.
  Tightening torque:
  
  1.8 N.m (0.2 kgf-m, 1.3 ft-lb)
Install the center information display assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY>INSTALLATION .
Install the panel assembly center. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTOR CLUSTER>INSTALLATION .
Install the driver monitoring unit. (Model with driver monitoring system) Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT>INSTALLATION .
NOTE: For the model without driver monitoring system, install the cover assembly driver monitor in the same procedure as for the driver monitoring unit.
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
When the central gateway control module has been replaced, perform the following steps.
- Model without keyless access with push button start
  1. Register the immobilizer. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>SPECIFICATION>IMMOBILIZER REGISTRATION .
  2. Perform the module registration. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>UNIT REGISTRATION>OPERATION .
- Model with keyless access with push button start
  1. Perform the module registration. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>UNIT REGISTRATION>OPERATION .
