Installation Procedure

  1. Install the automatic transmission control.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the automatic transmission control nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m(18 lb ft).

  3. Install the electrical connector.
  4. Install the park lock cable. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement

  5. Install the range select lever cable to the automatic transmission control.
  6. Install the console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

  7. Install the automatic transmission control lever handle.
  8. Instal the automatic transmission control lever handle retainer.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
