Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Disconnecting Shift Lock Control Solenoid Connector From Solenoid

  1. Remove the automatic transaxle control assembly. Refer to Floor Shift Control Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the Shift Lock Control Solenoid connector from the solenoid.

  3. Using a flat-blade screwdriver or similar tool pry the solenoid off of the ball sockets on the solenoid plunger and solenoid body.

  4. Remove the shift lock control solenoid.
