Idle Speed Motor Position Sensor: Service and Repair

The idle speed control motor position sensor is part of the idle air control motor and must be replaced as a complete unit.

ISC Servo, Idle Position Switch, MPS Location:





1. Unplug both connectors from the idle air control motor and the idle motor position sensor.
2. Unbolt the idle air control motor from the throttle body and pull it straight out.
3. Reverse procedure for installation.
