This regulator, Fig. 27, is used to control vacuum to the 6500 feedback carburetor on 2.3 liter engines. During engine operation, the manifold vacuum signal is reduced to a variable vacuum output signal. The vacuum output signal is varied in response to an electric input from the MCU module. The vacuum signal from the vacuum regulator/solenoid varies the air fuel ratio in the carburetor.
