CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 4.0L









Removal and Installation





1. Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
a. Disconnect the electrical connector.

b. Remove the bolts.

c. Remove the sensor.

NOTE:The new CKP sensor must be touching the damper. The new sensor has wear tabs that will wear off after several engine revolutions.To install, reverse the removal procedure.
