8-Hour Timer Bypass Procedure

NOTE: When 8-hour-timer is bypassed, PCM may misdiagnose the EVAP system if fuel temperature is warm. It is important to cool down the fuel tank as much as possible during the shortened soak period.

1. Connect NGS tester and turn the ignition to ON.
2. Access to "CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC CODES" menu of "GENERIC OBD II FUNCTIONS".
3. Press the "TRIGGER" to reset the 8-hour-timer.
4. Leave the ignition key to ON position.
5. Follow the drive mode procedure.
