Ignition Rotor: Testing and Inspection

Distributor Cap And Rotor:

1. Check rotor for:
^ Cracks or other physical damage.
^ Signs of excessive burning or pitting at center contact and tip.

2. Replace rotor if any of these conditions are detected.
3. Check that continuity exists between tip and center contact. If not, replace rotor.
