Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The mass airflow sensor detects the amount of air entering the engine and sends a coresponding signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

REMARKS
The mass airflow sensor is powered by a 5 Volt reference voltage.
