Airflow Meter (AFM)

Inspect airflow meter body for cracks or damage. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between sensor terminals. See AIRFLOW METER SPECIFICATIONS  table. Pry open measuring plate with a screwdriver and measure resistance between terminals "E1" and "Fc" (fuel pump switch), and between terminals "E2" and "Vs". See Fig 1 . If readings are incorrect replace AFM assembly.
