GLC Wagon

  1. Using a voltmeter, check the voltage at the "D" terminal of the engine speed switch. The engine speed switch is located on the left kick panel on the driver's side of the passenger compartment.
    NOTE: Test engine speed switch with the air conditioner turned OFF.
  2. With engine idling and at operating temperature, the voltage at terminal "D" will be 0-1.5V. At 1800 RPM, the voltmeter should read 12V. Replace unit if it does not perform as described.
