Ignition Key Initialization: Notes

NOTE: Ignition key initialization erases all ignition key codes from memory of Steering Column/Ignition/Lighting (SCIL) module. Ignition key initialization provides reprogramming of SCIL module in case all programmed ignition keys were lost or to remove any ignition key codes from memory. This procedure also allows for reprogramming of system if ignition lock assembly requires replacement.
