Absorber Control Switch: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

  2. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 17
  3. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 18
  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 19
  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 20
  6. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX PLATE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 21
  7. REMOVE ABSORBER CONTROL SWITCH

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the absorber control switch from the console box plate.
