Transmitter Initialization

NOTE: Whenever a transmitter is replaced, theft alarm unit must be programmed. Serial communications line is used to activate learn mode of theft alarm unit. When learn mode of theft alarm unit has been accessed, up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. All transmitters must be programmed during same learn mode period.
  1. Ensure theft alarm is disarmed and vehicle is mobilized.
  2. To program, press unlock button on transmitter at least 8 times.
  3. When transmitter is programmed correctly, horn will briefly sound and hazard lights will flash once. Repeat procedure for each transmitter.
