Repair Procedures: Replacement
- Remove the front wheel and tire.
(Refer to Tires/Wheels - "WHEEL ")
- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Disconnect the R-MDPS motor connector (A), ECU connector (B) and wiring (C).
- Separate the stabilizer link (A) from the front strut assembly.
Tightening torque:
98.1 - 117.7 N.m (10.0 - 12.0 kgf.m, 72.3 - 86.8 lb.ft)
[2WD]
[AWD]
- Remove the stabilizer bar (A) from the sub frame.
Tightening torque:
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb.ft)
- Remove the stabilizer bar links (A) from the stabilizer bar.
Tightening torque:
98.1 - 117.7 N.m (10.0 - 12.0 kgf.m, 72.3 - 86.8 lb.ft)
NOTE: Using a hex wrench, fix the end of stabilizer link when loosening the nut. - Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Check the front alignment.
