Diagnostic Test

CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING ERROR
NOTE: Controller is programmed with generic software and will not allow the correct vehicle Powertrain management.
1. With the scan tool.
2. Record the vehicles controller part number.
3. Select Use Controller Part Number under the Flash Tab.
4. Flash the controller with the correct software.
  Verify the controller flashed successfully.
  
  Test Complete
  - Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure .
