Removal & Installation

  1. Locate PCM in engine compartment. See Fig 1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove plastic shield for access to PCM connectors. Plastic shield snaps to connectors. Carefully disconnect PCM connectors. Remove PCM retaining bolts and PCM.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten PCM retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Use the DRB scan tool to reprogram new PCM with vehicle's original Identification Number (VIN) and original vehicle mileage.
