Drive Belt

Jaguar belt driven components have threaded adjusting rods with opposing nuts to allow for precise belt adjustment. Loosen outer nut and adjust opposite nut to give compressor belt tension that allows belt deflection of 0.17 in (4.32 mm) when a pressure of 6.4 lb (2.9 kg) is applied at mid-point of belt.
