Reprogramming Seed & Key

NOTE: This procedure requires Tech II scan tool and Techline terminal with current service programming system software.
  1. Connect Tech II scan tool to DLC. Select REQUEST INFORMATION under SERVICE PROGRAMMING. Disconnect scan tool from DLC and connect to Techline terminal. On Techline terminal, select THEFT MODULE RELEARN under SERVICE PROGRAMMING. Disconnect scan tool from Techline terminal and reconnect to DLC.
  2. Turn ignition ON, leave engine OFF. On scan tool, select VTD RELEARN under SERVICE PROGRAMMING. Turn ignition switch to CRANK, then release key and allow to return to ON position (vehicle will not start).
  3. Observe SECURITY indicator. After about 10 minutes, indicator will turn off. Turn ignition off, wait 5 seconds, then start engine. Vehicle has now learned Passlock(tm) sensor data code and/or password. Use scan tool to clear any DTCs.
