Powertrain Management: Description and Operation

POWERTRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
This is an electronically controlled exhaust emission system that uses a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to control fuel delivery, ignition timing, air management and exhaust recirculation. The PCM also operates the shift lamp to indicate the best shift point for maximum fuel economy.
