Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove intake air duct.
  2. Check if foreign matter is caught between throttle valve and housing. If okay, go to next step. If not okay, remove foreign matter and clean electric throttle control actuator inside.
  3. Replace electric throttle control actuator. Perform throttle valve closed position learning. See THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING  under PROGRAMMING. Perform idle air volume learning. See IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING  under PROGRAMMING.
