Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure






1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Loosen the CKP sensor retaining bolt.
3. Remove the CMP sensor.


Installation Procedure






1. Install the CKP sensor.
2. Tighten the CKP sensor retaining bolt.

Tighten torque: 8 N-m (69 lb in)
