Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Crankshaft Position Sensor:

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Remove the bolts from the CKP and the CKP bracket.
5. Remove the CKP.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 in lb).
