With Automatic Transaxle

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Apply the parking brake and be sure the vehicle is on level ground.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector and speedometer cable from the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
4. Remove the retaining bolt and gently pry the VSS out.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the retaining bolt to 7.8-12 Nm (69-104 lb in).
