A keyless entry system diagnostic procedure was not published for the 1986 Taurus/Sable. To properly diagnose the keyless entry system, use either the 1986 Thunderbird/Cougar Shop Manual, Section 44-18, or the 1987 Taurus/Sable Shop Manual, Section 44-18.
