CCD (Chrysler Collision Detection) Bus

PURPOSE

The transmission controller and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) exchange engine speed and vehicle load information on the CCD bus.

This transmission information allows the PCM to adjust ignition and fuel systems for best vehicle operation.
