Installation Procedure
Turbocharger Heat Shield (1) - Install NEW
Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Gasket (3) - Install NEW [2x]
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Gasket (7) @ Cylinder Head - Install NEW
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Gasket (9) @ Engine Block - Install NEW
Compressor Air Intake Turbocharger (2) - Install
- Exhaust Manifold Stud Spacer (4) - Install [4x]
- Turbocharger Nut (5) - Install NEW and tighten in sequence [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Foul Air Tube (1) - Install
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Foul Air Tube (1) - Connect [2x] - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Electrical Connector @ Positive Crankcase Ventilation Foul Air Tube (2) - Connect
Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Gasket (1) - Install NEW
Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter (4) - Install
- Catalytic Converter Nut (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Front Heat Shield - Inner (1) - Install
- Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Front Heat Shield - Outer (1) - Install
- Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Engine (2) - Install - Engine Removal and Installation (F48)Engine Removal and Installation (FWD)
- Perform the turbocharger wastegate learn. Turbocharger Wastegate Learn
- Perform the intake system learned values reset. Intake System Learned Values Reset
Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

Turbocharger Heat Shield (1) - Install NEW

Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Gasket (3) - Install NEW [2x]
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Gasket (7) @ Cylinder Head - Install NEW
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Gasket (9) @ Engine Block - Install NEW
Compressor Air Intake Turbocharger (2) - Install
- Exhaust Manifold Stud Spacer (4) - Install [4x]
- Turbocharger Nut (5) - Install NEW and tighten in sequence [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Foul Air Tube (1) - Install
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Foul Air Tube (1) - Connect [2x] - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Electrical Connector@Positive Crankcase Ventilation Foul Air Tube (2) - Connect
Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Gasket (1) - Install NEW
Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter (4) - Install
- Catalytic Converter Nut (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Front Heat Shield - Inner (1) - Install
- Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Front Heat Shield - Outer (1) - Install
- Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Engine (2) - Install - Engine Removal and Installation (F48)Engine Removal and Installation (FWD)
- Perform the turbocharger wastegate learn. Turbocharger Wastegate Learn
- Perform the intake system learned values reset. Intake System Learned Values Reset
