Installation Procedure
- Install New Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator (2)
- Install Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (1) @Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator Washer (2)
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator Nut (1)
- Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator Nut (1) - Tighten 8 N.m (71 lb in)
- Install Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve and Bracket Assembly (2) @Vehicle
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut (1) @Front Compartment Inner Side Rail and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Install Body Wiring Harness Clip (1) @Electronic Brake Control Module Stud Bolt (2)
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut (1) @Front Wheel House Panel and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Install Body Wiring Harness Clip (3) @Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket
- Connect Electrical Connector (1) @Electronic Brake Control Module (2)
- Install Brake Pipe Fitting (2) @Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Rear Pipe Fitting (2) @Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) and tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Pipe Fitting (1) @Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) and tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
- Install Drive Motor Battery Positive and Negative Cable (1) Drive Motor Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement
- Install the heater surge tank to the heater surge tank bracket. Heater Coolant Surge Tank Replacement
- Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
- Program the electronic brake control module. Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
- Calibrate the brake pressure modulator valve pressure sensor. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pressure Sensor Calibration
CAUTION:
WARNING:
Make sure brake pipes are correctly connected to brake pressure modulator valve. If brake pipes are switched by mistake, wheel lockup will occur and personal injury may result. The only two ways this condition can be detected are by using a Scan Tool or by doing an Antilock stop.

NOTE:
Make sure that the electronic brake control module is fully seated into the grommets after the brake pipes are tightened.
