Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    The EN-51146-2-5  calibrations tools must be installed to ALL injectors.

  1. Install the EN-51146-2-5  calibrations tools (6) to the fuel injectors (5).
  2. Lightly coat the fuel injector seal (4) with engine oil.
  3. Install Fuel Injector (5) at Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (2)
  4. Apply thread lock agent to 8 NEW fuel injector bolts (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install 8 NEW fuel injector bolts (1) to the fuel injectors (5) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
  6. Install Electrical Connector (3)
  7. Install the fuel injector rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
