Preliminary Checks

Ensure CIG fuse (15-amp) is okay. Ensure ground connections are clean and tight. Ensure multifunction alarm module is securely mounted to instrument panel junction block No. 2. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminals. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Correct any problem before continuing with testing. If problem still exists, diagnose by symptom. See SYSTEM TESTS  .
