Vehicle Speed Sensor: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor connector (1) near speedometer cable (2) at transaxle. See Figure. Remove the one retaining bolt (3) and the VSS from the transaxle. Inspect the VSS O-ring for damage. Replace the O-ring, as necessary.
