Fuel Pump Relay

  1. Fuel pump relay is located in engine compartment fuse/relay box. Remove fuel pump relay from fuse/relay box. Using an ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between terminal No. 1 (Black/White wire) and terminal No. 2 (Pink/White wire) of fuel pump relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage to terminal No. 1 (Black/White wire), and ground terminal No. 2 (Pink/White wire). Continuity should exist between terminal No. 3 (Pink wire) and terminal No. 4 (White/Blue wire) of fuel pump relay. Replace fuel pump relay if continuity is not as specified.
