Installation Procedure

  1. Install the level sensor wires to the internal connector in the proper location. Refer to Delphi Connectors (Weather Pack) or Delphi Connectors (Push To Seat) or Delphi Connectors (Pull To Seat) or Delphi Connectors (Micro-Pack 100W) or Delphi Connectors (Micro .64) or Delphi Connectors (12-Way) .
  2. Install the new level sensor (1) into the module by sliding it down until the lock tab clicks.
  3. Ensure that the wires are in the slot below the sensor and the sensor is installed properly.

  4. Install a NEW fuel pump module O-ring (3) to the fuel tank opening.
  5. Install the left fuel tank module (2) to the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement - Left Side .
  6. Using a digital multi-meter, verify the full and empty readings resistance reading of the fuel pump module. Turn the fuel tank upside down to achieve the full tank reading.

    Resistance: 

    • Empty tank reading 40 Ω resistance
    • Full tank reading 250 Ω resistance

  7. Install the left fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement - Left Side .
