Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system is a supplementary vehicle entry device. Use RKE system in conjunction with a door lock key. Radio frequencies or discharged batteries may disable system. RKE is operated by these following components:

When a button is pressed on remote transmitter, it sends a signal to RCDLR. RCDLR interprets signal and activates requested function through a class 2 message over serial data line.

To unlock driver's door only, momentarily press UNLOCK button on remote transmitter in order to perform these following functions:

To unlock all doors, momentarily press UNLOCK button on remote transmitter a second time (within 4 seconds of first press) in order to perform these following functions:
