MALFUNCTION THRESHOLD

Engine speed 1,800 rpm or more

When the boost pressure (turbocharger boost sensor output or MAP sensor output) is at a specified pressure or more, and fuel cut for engine protection operates for at least 2 seconds, a malfunction is detected.

145 kPa (42.7 in.Hg, 1,084 mmHg) to 252 kPa (74.5 in.Hg, 1,890 mmHg) or more⁽¹⁾

MAP sensor output

170 kPa (50.1 in.Hg, 1,272 mmHg) to 249 kPa (73.5 in.Hg, 1,865 mmHg) or more⁽¹⁾
