Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery (-) terminal.
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)

Disconnect the battery sensor connector (A).

Remove the battery.
(Refer to " Battery ")
Remove the battery negative (-) cable after removing the mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque:

26.5 - 32.3 N.m (2.7 - 3.3 kgf.m, 19.5 - 23.8 lb.ft)
